EM X Naufal Abshar: Multifaces Scarf & Outer

Inspired by “Disguise & Laughter” by Naufal Abshar, Multiface explores the many faces, roles, and intentions we carry as we move through life.

Part of the PANGGUNG Collection, the artwork reflects the collection's idea of “life in the eyes of others.” PANGGUNG looks at human behaviour through the metaphor of a theatrical performance—where we become actors on a stage, taking on different roles to communicate our intentions, achieve our goals, fulfil our needs, and navigate an unpredictable world.

Multiface brings that idea to life through a collage of expressive faces, fragmented figures, intersecting lines, handwritten marks, and bold blocks of colour. No single face tells the entire story. Instead, they overlap and coexist—much like the different versions of ourselves that appear depending on where we are, who we're with, and what life asks of us.

The artwork is expressive and deliberately chaotic, combining earthy tones with bold pink, blue, orange, green, and graphic black-and-white details. It carries the “solid fun” character of PANGGUNG: colourful and experimental, yet still grounded in Earth Major's warmth.

Designed as more than just a scarf, its generous 110 × 110 cm square shape gives you room to make it your own. Fold it differently and another part of the artwork appears—another face, another colour, another version of the story.
